When you're on top of everyone And got there by the legacy The wealth is clear as air is for everyone Riding on the wings of steel Wrought by the goodwill of the smith Do feel alone, all alone, all alone, all alone Thrones are safe, stay right there Let the people carry you there Appearance is your grand power Your sword is licked on by you knights Have you ever felt the sweat down your neck? We sow the seed all day long You take the fruit, as if not wrong Representing by numbers played out by guilt What if I would shoot down the crown? Would your shield disappear? Would you sweet-talk your way out as usual? Four years safe, stay right there Let the people carry you there

Save me, save me, save me from this unwelcome state From this spine shivering that wakes the nerve of blind Free me, free me, free me from the passion spell The charm that she sent to me, but still by no intent Wake me, wake me up however deep and wonderful The sleep may be that weaves me in, beyond the sense of mind Help me, forget, or help me reach and help her too She cannot ever know how deep my sights would go I wonder, I wonder about her thoughts But I guess noone will ever know As long the spells weave on and on and on... Save me, save me, save me from her terrible curse From this spine shivering that wakes me up at night She's not aware at all, but still her power goes on Her eyes, her face, her everything of being is there, but not for me I wonder, I wonder about her thoughts But I guess noone will ever know As long the spells weave on and on and on...

A touch without a cause A reach without remorse So near and yet so far away I don't know how to say The closer I will try to get The farther you will be I wish that you could see Now that you are free Searching for a rainbow When it's all inside your eyes There's no use keep on hiding Let go off your disguise I see but dare not touch I'm near but cannot hold By fear that I will break the shell of trust As love's untold There's just one way to show it But I'm not even close Just one overtrample Would crush this tiny rose So long in your prescence Did not cease what I felt But still there's all this doubting My words were so misspelt So I keep on watching Though your face makes me cry That I cannot reach you However much I try

Neverending seeking for reasons unoccured Waiting for the days of doom, the preacher spurred them on Everything has happened all due to ourselves When you try to tell them, they're pointing at the saint of Hell Throwing guilt at minstrels, singing out the truth No wonder all this killing, stiring up our mood of youth Noone's going safe now, God is watching all Right is wrong and wrong is right, come on and join the fall They don't want to be held responsible Catching excuses in the air Numb goes the preacher When he's taken off his chair Divine justification, promises of better ways Killing has its purpose, our mighty god says Hey! Where are your common sense, we're not to blame How hard could it be to just accept we're not the same? The threat to peace on earth is strangely all the same All might abused and backed up by faith in weapons' aim Let us go out and play, the freedom is like gold I just want to get the chance to growing old They don't want to be held responsible Catching excuses in the air Silent goes the preacher When he's taken off his chair Why can't the yankee fashion fade and Leave the world onto people knowing peace Once for all; there is no God We can do so much better So listen now, you mislead, twofaced hypocrites With all your blindness I don't think you've got your wits Will you open your eyes and see what's going on? With faith in peace and love, we all can move on But nobody is held responsible for all excuses in the air Crippled goes the preacher When he's taken off his chair

The sky meets earth over there The fog is hiding it well Air is never so clear The birds are waiting to tell the tale The stories out of the woods go on and on Most wonderful sound of all The silence heading its call The trees wake up from their sleep Down the valley so deep right in between the zones of night and dawn And the sun prepares to guard the new day with a yawn Hardly anyone knows The secret beared by the crows How can this be for real? When the cities just steal from us Or actual bounds to mother nature's world Once we sang to the sun In the green fields we'd run Now there's only what's worth So I sing to the earth Beware, we're only human beings without our love On behalf of my brothers and sisters I hope you will take my apologies The sky of grey has always watched us Receiving every ounce of evil bounds Now, as if to say it's time for penance With anger it will send the rain on down The hills and valleys reduced To straight retreat for dwellers Widened sights are abused Who listens to the storytellers? Will we someday wake up to the world? Over thousands of years Fought the nature in tears Always lifting the sword Keeping the basics unheard No, noone really stands to hear the truth Gonna hide out in the forest Hide from what we once built up The sky of grey has always watched us Receiving every ounce of evil bounds Now, as if to say it's time for penance With anger it will send the thunder down

Face the mistake you've made You're walking in your shade So you are too fast on your wheel Chances will come and go To fight your will although you never learned to slow it down Oooh, you never let it go, do ya? Wait forever, for a nevercoming approach you reached to soon Never never, cry together, the chance is gone Digging a hole to store your fallen dreams And each new day it seems to rise Pretending to fulfill unfinished tasks until Your lies ain't reaching high enough Oooh, you never let it go, do ya? Wait forever, for a nevercoming approach you reached to soon Never never, cry together, the chance is gone Stumbling the alley down, you're feeling left behind As if you'll never get the time Life in the fast lane route to catch up with your youth Even right now ain't soon enough Oh, you never let it go, do ya? Wait forever, for a nevercoming approach you reached to soon Never never, cry together, the chance is gone

See for yourself what a feeling can do So totally darken the lightest of lights Waiting for something that never will come Back again Howl to the moon if it helps, but it won't The night is too like then, not to haunt your mind Unwillingly wawing goodbye to the time It was you two Crawl to the cross is to proclaim the loss And your pride is preventing your emotions Wait for the call, thinking she's got the ball However it goes now is depending on you Crawl to the cross, if you want things to last, time's running fast You know what they say, good things will never last Wonderful's short, you are painful aware of that Having to face the truth, thought it is bad She's not there You may come over it, like other times But now it was different, the rythm and rhymes Everything's perfect, you fitted too well Together Crawl to the cross is to proclaim the loss And your pride is preventing your emotions Wait for the call, you know she's got the ball What the future brings to you is depending on her Crawl to the cross, if you want things to last, time's running fast See for yourself what a feeling can do So totally darken the lightest of lights Waiting for something that never will come Back again Howl to the moon if it helps, but it won't The night is too like then, not to haunt your mind Waving unwilling goodbye to the time It was you two Crawl to the cross is to proclaim the loss And your pride is preventing your emotions Wait for the call, you know she's got the ball What the future brings to you is depending on you Crawl to the cross, if you want things to last, time's running fast

Oh, I watch the sky And it's dark as any old night I wonder where all love has gone to hide I see your fear that love's all to be for see And not to be Why hate so much? There is so much to see and touch But hate is strong, for a heart full of fear and lies I wonder why, there's so few with love in their eyes I can see the doubting towards me Surely see that your mind disagree But I can assure you, baby There are no lies in my head For the love is to be treasured here instead Now in days of cold There is no use not to unfold The warmth between, in the long run there is noone Who can live without the mighty prescence of love I can't understand Why so many people just hate Without reason, and without demanding their fate There is no god, so we just have to take this world And make it our own I can see the doubting towards me Surely see that your mind disagree But I can assure you, baby There are no lies in my head For the love is to be treasured here in bed Babe, let's watch the sky But let's not be wondering why Just leave the world behind and don't be so shy Don't let them win, no use to be lonely and cry

If I'm lonely and if I'm suffering I will let you know For in the longer run My life won't change unless I do Baby baby, why d'you want me here? Why can't I go home? Leave me on my own Induce my reasoning with fear won't do The real world puts you down eventually And still you call 'everyone must go!' Complicating all things all around Weaving webs to blame When imposed old brains no longer can achieve their aims So, you rely on conciense that they'll sacrifie their own sense You give all you've earned and everything you loved and lived for to hands that want control, to heads that want your soul Oh, know this: Noone is let out They will gather round for your blood, and shout: 'Join in and die for all our needs!' Baby baby, why d'you want me down? I've done you no harm Yet my death is due All to the echo of your grief So, you rely on conciense that they'll sacrifie their own sense You give all you've earned and lived for to hands that want control, to heads that want your soul

Rain and pain and the darkened vain Living through the days all seem the same Something inside makes me feel There's something out there worth reaching out for No, living ain't for free Strange how life can't cope with what we want to be Together, we're alone Soon enough the circles turn to squares Each are pointing right from where she waste her fears Once her heaven has been drained out There's no time for wandering about No, living ain't for free Strange how life can't cope with what we want to be Together, we're alone The number of days we've been given to give and to take from each other with fate looking on It seems to descend each time tomorrow is becoming today on the way No mountain high enough to block As her fight against the will is hard as rock Trying to be a better kind There's no time to restore the old life, left behind No, living ain't for free Strange how life can't cope with what we want to be Together, we're alone Then as the evening has turned into night and the night became morning, not hearing her plight And her senses are stuck within all of the mist Then she starts all the planning, with life off the list

Noir 10:25
Noone ever knocked on your door Noone ever told you to care Noone ever asked you for more It's all in each other's sphere Your sorry hearts misguided you down A perfect lane of isolated renown The lights of mindless jamboree shun upon us all Many would attach, some did reject the fall How many wars shall be fought before you all see The weakness lies in difference, togetherness ain't free No voice can't fight the nature's walk The wrong turned right by the cunting stalk It always comes back to how thick blood can be But the bloodshed became still unseen controversy Walking the streets, forth and back The moon shines upon the rainwet sidewalks Many is waiting for the dusk to crack While some knows it's dawn that talks The night is now, the rain is real How many don't know what their fate conceal? We can let the rain wash away our own fate And waste our lives on people out of rate The undermining's total The fools are justified Our bear favours are fatal By help we overturn The real spirit of kindness lies In ourselves, so please be wise If we can't afford the absence of the mind Then it's much crueler to act kind

about

The second album of the one-man heavy rock compound Yriam Dwark. Like the first one, it consists entirely of old songs which I wrote as a teen youngster and as you may know, I made no secret of being a huge Led Zep fanboy which may as well show through even more on this particular selection. Albeit not being a deliberate intention, this time around it sort of ventured in a more diverse direction stylistically and there are quite a few folksy acoustic-based tracks interspersed with songs that may be even heavier than anything on the first album. So there you have it; yet another Zep/Purp/Sabb-ripoff to stone your mind to.
